15 year old daughter dating 17 year old Masturbation chatr
She'll learn from it but hopefully not with the end result of a baby on the way. My 15 year old step-daughter is dating a 19 year old.
We are really not happy with it and my partner says he is going to speak to her tonight. She is only just 15, a well behaved girl but easily led - she tried smoking and drinking when she fell in with a more adventurous friend and stopped when they fell out (thankfully). My mum didnt react, she let me go on dates but I had curfews.
I liked this guy when he was 15 and I would have been 17 at the time (we never dated or did anything) but what would people's opinions have been if we had?
Rather hypothetical I know :) 19 year old with an almost 17 year old? What's your opinion on a 19 year old guy dating a 17 year old girl?
I will say though that going in guns blazing won't achieve anything.
I started seeing my partner just after my 16th birthday, he was 21 at the time and the age gap was never an issue to us.
The prev poster is right in saying dont come down hard on her, chances are it will be a fleeting thing and if you act calm you'll be able to monitor it easier than if you tell her you don't want him in your house etc. I met my hubby when I was 15 and he was 20 (I'm now 28) if my parents had tried to stop me I would definitely have rebelled.
I know that all parents have different opinions and thoughts on this but I do think you sometimes need to give a 15 year old the chance to prove that they can be responsible.
15 is an age where a girl can be quite mature and perhaps feels on a par with a 19 year old rather than boys her own age.
I am obviously worried about what a 19 year old boy wants a 15 year old (fairly immature) girlfriend for!! I have no way of implementing threats etc as she doesn't live with us, visits fri - sun very other weekend. Then when I was 16 I stayed over his house every other Friday night at his parents house, he wasnt allowed to stay at mine.
This 21yo was fairly boring tbh, didnt smoke or do drugs, he had a full time job and was a bit of a mummy's boy lol.
Where I am, it's legal to have sex when you're 16 so that wouldn't be an issue but you are only classed as an adult when you're 18 so I'm old enough to go into clubs and bars and drink alcohol but he isn't.
Also, when going abroad he'd be classed as a child and I would be an adult.
Boys are less mature than girls and so it probably doesnt seem like a big difference to them.
